Susan Purser is a science teacher at D.H. Conley High School in Greenville. Ms. Purser’s commitment to engaging students in science led her to develop a forensic science class before textbooks were available on the subject. Ms. Purser recognized that the popular CSI television programs coupled with a rigorous forensic course could hook students that might not otherwise take advanced science.
