Derek Chase is a biology teacher at Bunker Hill High School in Claremont. Carol Moore in her nomination wrote, “Using a bottomless basket of inquiry-based strategies, Mr. Chase has proven successful with a high pass rate of his AP Biology students as well as the highest average growth in the school with his special needs students in his inclusion Biology classes.”
