NC SMT opened nominations for the North Carolina Science, Mathematics and Technology Education Center Awards.
The annual awards recognize individuals and groups who made exemplary contributions to SMT during the year, promoting the mission of the SMT center. There are nine awards accepting nominations.

· Champion of Science, Mathematics and Technology Education Award
· Outstanding Informal Educator Award in Science, Mathematics and Technology Education
· Outstanding K-8 Educator Award in Science, Mathematics and Technology Education
· Outstanding 9-16 Educator Award in Science, Mathematics and Technology Education
· Student Leadership Award in Science, Mathematics and Technology Education
· Outstanding Administrator Award in Science, Mathematics and Technology Education
· Presidential Award Winner
